The day I picked up my infant son from daycare and found him trapped underneath the couch was the same day I quit my job and took on a new one.

Instead of working part-time outside of the home trying
to bring in more money to help meet our financial needs, I decided to simply begin working full-time inside our home to help "make" more money by simply finding different, easy ways to save it.

"Making by Saving" Philosophy

I'll be the first to admit it, there are countless products out there that can make our day-to-day lives easier. From magical gizmos that will automatically clean our showers to premade frozen food ready to heat and eat to those oh-so-sinfully tasty coffee drinks that promise to give us more pep in our step. Problem is, we pay dearly for each and every last one. Convenience isn't cheap.

The making by saving philosophy is simple: Begin making more money, time and space simply by saving it. A little creativity can help you find different ways around your own home and within your own daily life to find this hidden treasure you didn't know you have. By making the resources you already have go farther, you'll reap countless rewards. Soon you'll see more money in the bank, less debt and even improved health as a result of less overall stress.

Often times "making by saving" means getting back to basics. Simplicity can be beautiful in so many ways. Simplify. Organize. Innovate.
